The Physics 2610 Blog Spot! ================================ A great way to ask for and be given after hours help on PS problems! 5/9/2024 ================================================== Hello Dr.C., I wanted to reach out regarding cheg use in the physics course. I've never used cheg or any other sort of cheating software, however I recall googling how to do one of the problems on the homework (excluding numbers) because I was unsure (finding uncertainty).  I was just wondering, was I the one that was using cheg? I'm pretty sure I was not, I do not cheat on the homework. However I wanted to know if it was somehow me? Thanks, vvvvvvvvvvvv ------------------------ Dear vvvvvvvvvvv, not to worry; To be clear, you can use every online resource -even chegg- to READ what is already there but a copywrite violation is to COPY AND PASTE my questions I give you verbatim into Chegg requesting an answer. Chegg would then 'OWN' my copywritten work and you and I get nada. So, look around, help each other, talk to other students, tutors, your grandmother, whatever, but you may not freely give away verbatim my copywritten homework to them. Same with AI tools. You are not allowed to upload your questions that I give you or any other student into an AI agent online...again, for the same reasons. I hope that clears it up in a no fuss, no anxiety way. Pretty clear I want you to learn and I don't think it will help your learning to get your answers from some smart disadvantaged kid in Bangledesh (chegg) or wherever OR from the hot heap of dungfire that is the latest LLM AI fad (see additional chatGPT fails on the class webpage).
