``Numerical Experiments with Quarks and Gluons'' Professor Greg Kilcup, OSU ABSTRACT : ``I will describe recent advances in lattice QCD, the field which uses the most powerful supercomputers we can build to study the smallest particles we can detect. For those who are easily distracted, be reassured there will be plenty of animated color graphics.'' Biographical Data for Dr. Kilcup: native of Seattle, educated at Yale (BS/MS 81) and Harvard (PhD 86 under Georgi), postdocs at Cornell and Brown, before joining the OSU faculty in 1990.
